Fine Art Portraits

These are some fine art portraits I took of my friend Gaby in the park by my house and in my backyard. I played around with the exposure for many of them and had fun editing the photos to give them a certain mood and backstory.
Gaby is searing through the gap in a tree in my backyard. I love this photo for how creepy it is. The black and white effect made it even more scary and to top it off I enhanced the detail of her face to emphasize her intense expression.

This photo, of Gaby, was taken with a longer exposure so I could capture the movement of her head. This photo has an eery feeling as well, but not as creepy. To edit I changed around the temperature and exposure.
I liked how these two pictures went together. They were taken in the park at night and to get her face to show up I had to change the exposure which then made the photos very grainy. I liked the look so I added more grain and mixed around the colors as well as giving the photos a small vignette.
Gaby is in a flowing bush. Her expression and attire make the photo seem dreamlike and imaginary. I edited the colors and then made the photo black and white with a brownish tint. To enhance her face and hair I used the sharpening tool.

These are portraits of me that Gaby took with my camera at the time and place I took her photos. I edited them in Lightroom and enjoyed the mood so I decided to share them also.
