The following images are a verity of multiple exposer, panorama and HDR photos I have taken in downtown Portland. Using the manual method, taking multiple photos, and then stitching them together in photoshop a was able to create some interesting panoramas. I also used the manual method to create HDR photos in photoshop using multiple exposures of the same image. and layering them. I overlapped several images in photoshop to create multiple exposure images.
PANORAMAS
This is a panorama of several images of a crack in an old brick walkway with plaster. I liked to texture and movement of the crack and could only capture the whole thing by making a panorama. To edit this picture I played with the contrast and colors of the moss.
This is a vertical panorama of a railing leading up a stairway. I liked the shape and, once again, could only capture the whole thing by making a stitch of multiple images. To edit the image I took down the vibrance and slightly changed the exposure. My last panorama was of the steel (I think) bridge downtown. I was able to capture the elongated shape through multiple stitched images. I made the image in black and white to focus more on the stricture and I messed with the exposure and contrast.
MULTIPLE EXPOSER
This image was originally meant to be a HDR images but since the two photos didn't match up they created an interesting overlap. To edit the image I adjusted the colors and exposer.
The mix of a rusted textured building under a corner of a wall with some branches sticking off made a very interesting overlap. To edit the photo I messed with the curves and exposer of the branches and I made the rusty building more vibrant and contrasting.
The last overlapping image is personally my favorite. The mix between a lamp post and the grid windows of a building made a very cool design. To edit the photo I enhanced the vibrance and contrast for both the building and the lights in order to get colors to come through.
HDR
This second HDR image I used two combined images to capture the lights and darks of the buildings and water tower. To edit, I used the gamma correction, vibrance, contrast, and exposer.
The last image is an HDR of two images of a steel wall. After putting the images together I noticed that the darks were still fairly dark, but I liked how the light part popped out yet still had detail. To edit the photo I changed the vibrance to be a little higher and also the expose to be a little darker.
